FAQs

Questions, answered

How much does the ResMed AirCurve 11 VAuto cost in Australia?

The ResMed AirCurve 11 VAuto is $1,995 at NSW CPAP, including in-store fitting and setup at one of our 5 NSW clinics, plus lifetime support. Finance options are available.

Who is the AirCurve 11 VAuto for?

It is designed for people with obstructive sleep apnoea who find standard CPAP uncomfortable, especially breathing out against a fixed pressure, or who need higher pressures. Your sleep physician can confirm if bilevel therapy suits you.

What's the difference between CPAP and bilevel?

CPAP uses one pressure for breathing in and out. Bilevel uses a higher pressure when you breathe in and a lower pressure when you breathe out, which many people find more comfortable.

Do I need a prescription or sleep study?

Bilevel therapy should be set to the pressures recommended by your sleep physician. If you haven't had a sleep study, start with our $99 Home Sleep Test or speak to our team.

Will it work with my current mask?

The AirCurve 11 works with standard CPAP masks, including the ResMed AirFit and AirTouch ranges. Our consultants can check your mask in clinic.

Can I pay it off?

Yes. We offer finance and buy now, pay later options. Call us or enquire online for details.

Is the AirCurve 11 VAuto the same as a BiPAP?

Yes. BiPAP is a common name for bilevel therapy. The AirCurve 11 VAuto is ResMed's auto-adjusting bilevel (BiPAP) machine on the Air11 platform.
